Artist, Illustrator, Cartographer

Having spent much more time drawing and doodling than I should have, I now consider myself a self-taught illustrator/artist with no formal qualifications in art. I combine my ability as an illustrator with my inclination to see the magic in the most mundane things and produce highly individual pictures.

As I was born in the mid-60s my formative years spanned the relative tastelessness of the 1970s to the profound tastelessness of the 1980s. Those familiar with the signs of the zodiac might say that as a Virgo I am blessed with few redeeming characteristics.

However pernickety perfectionism, while not always the most endearing of traits in company, is definitely a benefit in my work. I also have a sense of humour that still, regularly gets me into trouble!
